The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has began a campaign tour of the stronghold of the governing NPP, the Ashanti Region.
He is expected to visit all 47 constituencies in the region, aiming to galvanize support from the party supporters as well as the grassroots ahead of the upcoming December 7 elections.
Dr. Bawumia will kick off the tour with visits to the Atwima Mponua, Atwima Nwabiagya North, and Atwima Nwabiagya South constituencies. He will also engage with local party officials, community rulers and members of the constituency to address critical issues and share his vision for Ghana’s future.
This tour is an essential part of the NPP’s election mechanism to gather a significant voter base in the upcoming general elections.
