British doubles players Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski will officially join forces for the 2025 season.
Salisbury, 32, recently parted ways with his long-time partner, Rajeev Ram, after a successful collaboration that included four Grand Slam titles.
This change opens the door for him to partner with 34-year-old Skupski, a former world number one and Wimbledon doubles champion from 2023.
The duo has previously competed together, representing Great Britain at the Paris Olympics, where they exited in the first round, and at an ATP Tour event in Madrid earlier this year.
Their full-time partnership will kick off at the start of the new season in Australia at the end of December.
Ram announced the split with Salisbury earlier this week.
The pair, who began working together six years ago, built one of the sport’s most successful partnerships, claiming their first major title at the 2020 Australian
Open in just their second season. They went on to win three consecutive US Open titles in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
The pair reached the pinnacle of the sport, achieving world number one status and winning two ATP Finals.
They started 2024 strong by winning an ATP 250 title in Adelaide and reaching the final at the Montreal Masters, an ATP 1000 event, in August.
However, they struggled to progress beyond the quarter-finals in any of the four Grand Slam tournaments this year, finishing the season ranked as the 11th best doubles team in the world.
Salisbury and Ram’s last tournament together was the US Open, where they, as three-time defending champions, fell in the third round.
