The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has named Mr. Herbert Krapa as the substantive Minister for Energy. This appointment begun effective Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
According to the President, Mr. Krapa is credited with demonstrating exceptional diligence, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to his responsibilities. He believes that these qualities have significantly contributed to the progress and stability of Ghana’s energy sector.
Mr. Herbert Krapa, has served as Minister of State at the Ministry of Energy since July 15, 2024.
In a statement issued by Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the Jubilee House, President Akufo-Addo commended Mr. Krapa for his leadership and hard work, expressing confidence in his ability to excel in this new role.
