According to OpenAI, the tool enhances the ChatGPT experience by combining conversational responses with live data from the internet, allowing users to get current sports scores, news updates, stock information and more.
This search function can activate automatically based on user queries or be manually engaged through a web search icon.
OpenAI has also secured partnerships with content providers to supply real-time data and introduced new visual layouts for categories like weather, stocks, sports, and news.
