Election 2024: LPG calls for ballot paper reprinting

According to him, it is wrong for the EC to print ballot papers with the names and images of Madam Akua Donkor on them.

Following the demise of Madam Akua Donkor, the Presidential Candidate for the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), and the disqualification of Philip Appiah Kubi (Roman Fada), Kofi Akpaloo, the Presidential candidate for the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) has called on the Electoral Commission to reprint the ballot papers.

According to him, it is wrong for the EC to print ballot papers with the names and images of Madam Akua Donkor on them.

Speaking to the media, he called on the EC to reprint the ballot papers, taking out the GFP candidate.

Meanwhile, the Electoral Commission is set to transport ballot papers for the December 7, 2024 elections to the various regions from November 14, 2024.This is contained in a letter addressed to the General Secretaries of all political parties dated November 13, and signed by the Deputy Chairman in charge of Operations, Samuel Tettey.
