This season’s Betpawa Premier League 2021/22 has kicked off with the excitement that football fans have been hoping for the last couple of seasons.
After twelve rounds, a total of 210 matches have been officiated, with some teams having outstanding fixtures to play.
Aduana FC and Nsoatreman FC are the league leaders on the league log tied with 21 points on the league table.
A lot of football fanatics expected Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak to be the clubs battling each other for the Betpawa Premier League title but these two clubs have not lived up to expectations. Instead, both Aduana FC and Nsoatreman have garnered significant attention in the initial weeks of the season.
However, it’s worth noting that several players have also caught the eye for their commendable performances. These individuals have showcased remarkable skills and have rightfully earned the admiration of many Ghanaian football enthusiasts.mTheir impressive displays have undoubtedly made them the topic of discussion within the football community.
Players like Isaac Mintah, Augustine Okrah , Owusu Afriyie, Umar Abdul Manaf and Stephen Amankona are notable names of players have been performing very well in the campaign so far.

1. Isaac Mintah (ADUANA FC)
Isaac Mintah has been undoubtedly the standout player in the league this season. His performances have been exceptional and he has made a remarkable impact since joining Aduana. It’s truly impressive to witness his incredible start to life at the club.
Since the start of the 2023-24 season, Isaac Mintah has scored in 7 different league games (9 goals), more than any other player in this period. He has also provided three assists for his club.
He recently earned the well-deserved title of NASCO Player of the Month for October, after managing to score 4 goals in 4 appearances in October.

2. Augustine Okrah (BECHEM UNITED)
Another player who has been very good in the Premier League so far is Augustine Okrah.
In 12 appearances, he has scored 6 times for Bechem United and in his last six games in the league for Bechem United, he has scored 5 goals.
The mercurial midfielder is aiming to power his side to move up higher from 10th position on the league table where they currently lie.

3. Eric Owusu Afriyie (REAL TAMALE UNITED )
Lastly, one who deserves a spot in the top three standout performers in the ongoing Betpawa Premier League is Owusu Afriyie of Real Tamale United. RTU signed him on a free transfer after he halted his photography career to consider football in July.
The 18-year old has been spectacular to watch and entertaining as well. Owusu Afriyie has made 9 appearances with 6 goals for his club.
The youngster was the first player to bag a goal in the Premier League and also the first player to score a hat-trick this season.
