The Office of the President has categorically denied any involvement in a land dispute involving Ghana International School (GIS), dismissing allegations of attempted encroachment on the school’s land.
In a statement released on Thursday, the Presidency emphasized that it holds no interest in the disputed land and has not directed any officer or agent to interfere with the property.
The statement further revealed that a formal complaint has been lodged with the Inspector General of Police, requesting a thorough investigation into the matter.
The Presidency urged the public to disregard any claims linking the Office to the dispute, labeling such statements as false.
The denial comes after allegations surfaced that the Head of the VVIP Unit at the Presidency was connected to attempts to encroach on GIS land in the Cantonments area.
