The Ghana Football Association has made a strategic move to bolster the technical team of the senior men’s national football team, the Black Stars, by appointing Belgian Video Analyst Gregory De Grauwe as the new Chief Video Analyst.
This appointment is aimed at enhancing the team’s performance through more advanced video analysis and technical support.
Gregory De Grauwe brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. He holds a UEFA License B Coaching qualification, a degree in Physical Education, and a specialization in Performance Analysis.
With a background in coaching, he has spent eight years working with various Belgian clubs, including STVV, Sporting Lokeren, K. Beerschot VA, SC Zulte Waregem, and KV Kortruk.
This extensive experience in both coaching and video analysis positions him well to contribute to the Black Stars’ technical development.
In addition to his practical experience, De Grauwe has been a lecturer on Video Analysis under the Royal Belgian Football Association since December 2020.
This role allows him to stay on the cutting edge of video analysis techniques and trends, knowledge he will bring to his work with the Black Stars.
De Grauwe’s appointment as Chief Video Analyst is expected to provide vital support to the Black Stars’ coaching staff, particularly in terms of tactical analysis and match preparation.
His combined expertise in video analysis and coaching allows him to offer a unique perspective, which is anticipated to significantly improve the team’s performance on the field.
With Gregory De Grauwe on board, the Black Stars now have a dedicated expert to strengthen their video analysis capabilities.
His extensive qualifications and experience in both coaching and performance analysis will be invaluable as the team looks to improve its tactical approach and achieve success in upcoming international tournaments.
