Poet, literary coach, and cultural consultant, Philip Boakye Dua Oyinka, popularly known as Nana Asaase has called for the use of our diversity in culture as a tool to unite the country.
Speaking at the 8th edition of Mental Pictures, Bagyina reloaded: a night of literary renditions and cultural expressions, he underscored the need to use poetry, dance, storytelling, music, and more as a powerful tool for unity and what the Bagyina principle is about. He likened Bagyina reloaded to the story of Ghana through the celebration of resilience through our cultural values.
He added that it is through consistency that results will be produced, and that will make a child (Ghana) stay.
He further admonished Ghanaians to vote wisely and ensure there’s peace so that we will celebrate the whole of Ghana come January 7th, 2025, and not a person or political party.
