MX24 Media Limited has officially launched the 2026 edition of the CroXItOut Campaign, a bold female health awareness initiative aimed at empowering girls and women through education, advocacy, and action-driven engagement. The launch event, held at the studios of MX24 TV in Accra, brought together health professionals, educators, government representatives, advocates, artists, students, development organizations, and members of the media in support of the campaign’s mission.
This year’s campaign is being headlined by Lexta Ghana Limited, producers of Yazz products, a household brand known for its range of sanitary towels, sanitary pads, panty liners, tissues, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other hygiene products. The partnership marks a major step in advancing conversations around female health, hygiene, dignity, and empowerment.
Akosua Naana Lexis Obenewaa Opoku Agyemang from Yazz also addressed attendees during the launch, highlighting the company’s decision to support the campaign and the importance of investing in initiatives that directly impact the health, confidence, and well-being of girls and women. The brand reaffirmed its commitment to supporting awareness and advocacy efforts that promote hygiene education and female empowerment across communities.
The event was hosted by award-winning artists and media personalities, Lali X Lola, whose opening remarks set the tone for an impactful and inspiring gathering centered on awareness, advocacy, and youth empowerment.
Attendees were also treated to engaging musical performances from rising Ghanaian creatives, including Abena Serwaa Frempong, popularly known as Senti, whose dual role as both a Physician Assistant and artist brought a unique perspective to the campaign’s message.
Speaking at the launch, General Manager of MX24 TV, Antoine Mensah, emphasized the importance of media-led advocacy in driving social change.
“As a media organization, we believe our responsibility goes beyond entertainment and news. CroXItOut represents our commitment to using our platform to spark conversations that matter and create impact where it is needed most,” he stated.
Project Manager of the campaign, Julius Schandorf, highlighted the broader vision of the initiative and the need for collective action.
“CroXItOut is not just a campaign. It is a movement focused on moving conversations from awareness to action. We want girls and women to feel seen, heard, educated, and supported,” he said.
A major highlight of the launch was the panel discussion on the topic: “From Awareness to Action: Building a Healthier Future for Girls and Women.” The conversation featured distinguished voices from healthcare, education, advocacy, media, and lived experience.
Breast cancer survivor and advocate Dorothy Amuah delivered an emotional reflection on the importance of early detection, awareness, and community support.
“Too many women suffer in silence because of fear and stigma. Conversations like these can save lives,” she shared.
Educationist and Assistant Headmistress (Domestic) of Krobo Girls Senior High School, Opokua Ampadu-Sackey, also stressed the importance of health education within schools and safe spaces for young girls.
“Young girls need environments where they can ask questions freely, access accurate information, and feel supported in matters concerning their health and wellbeing,” she noted.
The launch was attended by several notable dignitaries and institutional representatives, including the Legal Advisor to the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment, the Greater Accra Regional Health Promotion Manager from the Ghana Health Service, and a delegation from the Ministry of Health, reflecting growing institutional support for the campaign and its objectives.
Over the coming months, the CroXItOut Campaign will roll out a series of school outreaches, media conversations, health education activities, advocacy engagements, and community-centered initiatives aimed at promoting female health awareness across Ghana.
With strong partnerships, youth-centered advocacy, and growing national support, the CroXItOut Campaign 2026 is positioning itself as one of the country’s emerging platforms for impactful conversations and action surrounding the health and empowerment of girls and women.
