Abetifi, Eastern Region – May 20, 2025 – The fourth edition of the CroXItOut Campaign for 2025 was successfully held at Abetifi Presby Senior High School on Wednesday, May 14, transforming the school grounds into a hub of education, empowerment, and inspiration for students, particularly young girls.

The event began with an engaging and insightful session from Abena Acheampong, a Physician Assistant at the Kwahu Government Hospital, who spoke passionately about breast cancer awareness. Her presentation covered the causes, prevention strategies, treatment options, and how to perform breast self-examinations. But she didn’t stop there—recognizing the unique needs of the young female audience, she also delivered a thoughtful and enlightening talk on menstrual hygiene, encouraging students to embrace their bodies with pride, practice healthy habits, and break the silence around menstruation.

In keeping with the campaign’s mission to nurture holistic development, the students were also treated to an empowering session by Ewura Ama Jenkins, a respected lawyer, social entrepreneur, and Founder & Managing Director of Reformation Ghana. Speaking on the topic, “No Excuse – How to Get the Results You Want,” Ewura Ama challenged students to take ownership of their dreams and future. Drawing from her personal transformation journey, she emphasized the power of discipline, clarity, and consistency, inspiring the students to push past obstacles and become intentional about their goals.

Adding a practical leadership lens to the day’s discussions, Akosua Naana Lexis Obenewaa Opoku-Agyemang, General Manager of McPhilix Foods, delivered an impactful talk on “The 4Ws and 1H”—an engaging framework for self-discovery, goal-setting, and effective decision-making. Her interactive session helped students reflect on who they are, what they want, why they want it, where they are headed, and how to get there, offering tools they could apply immediately in both their academic and personal lives.

The campaign wrapped up on a high note with electrifying performances by LaliXLola, the dynamic music duo and TGMA “Group of the Year” and “New Artist of the Year” nominees. Their vibrant set energized the students and brought a fresh wave of joy to an already inspiring day.

This successful outreach would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our generous partners and sponsors. Germol, our Title Sponsor, along with McPhilix Foods, IBM Petroleum, YFM, and High Skul Clique, helped bring this vision to life. Their contributions are helping to shift narratives around female health, youth leadership, and empowerment across Ghana.

The CroXItOut Campaign continues its mission to educate, inspire, and uplift Ghana’s youth by combining critical life skills, health education, and personal development in an environment that is relatable and empowering.

“At CroXItOut, we believe that real transformation begins with access to the right information and the right voices,” said Julius Schandorf, Project Manager for the campaign. “When young people are educated, seen, and heard—they rise.”
