The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged its supporters to leave the collation centers and return home, assuring them that the party’s leadership and technical team are fully equipped to handle the remainder of the electoral process.

This appeal was made in a statement issued on December 10, following heightened tensions at the Accra regional collation center due to delays in declaring the results for the Ablekuma North constituency.

The delay reportedly stems from a dispute involving the presiding officer and representatives of the NDC and New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The NDC expressed gratitude to its members and agents for their unwavering commitment in monitoring the collation process and reassured them of the leadership’s determination to ensure transparency and fairness in the final stages.

The party also called for calm and unity among its supporters, emphasizing that their collective efforts are pivotal to securing the victory they believe the nation deserves.
