Director General of the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah will be placed in the 1st spot on the Offinso North NPP Parliamentary Primaries ballot paper for the crucial exercise come January 27, 2024.
The CTVET Director, Fred Kyei will be followed by Presidential staffer, Rockson Adu Boahen and Incumbent MP, AC Ntim for the 2nd and 3rd spots respectively
This has been the outcome after a successful vetting followed by balloting at the party’s regional office at Asokwa in Kumasi on Thursday, January 4, 2024
Fred Kyei in a series of media engagements has expressed confidence in a landslide victory in the upcoming primaries, hinging on his remarkable achievement in the TVET sector and immense contribution towards the upliftment of the Offinso North District
The Akumadan native also promised delegates of the constituency, his commitment to prioritize their welfare when he becomes Member of Parliament for the Offinso North by engaging them yearly in their vicinities
The Offinso North constituency which falls within the category of ‘sitting MPs’ for the ruling party is for the first time going to witness a normal electoral procedure in selecting a parliamentary candidate since 2008 as the constituency has always settled on ‘no contest’ decision for incumbent Hon AC Ntim.
