Nana Agyei Baffuor Awuah elected NPP Parliamentary candidate for Manhyia South

Delegates in the Manhyia South Constituency have elected Nana Agyei Baffuor Awuah  as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the December 7, 2024, election.

In a closely contested poll, the lawyer secured a decisive victory with 376 votes, accounting for 71.48% of valid votes cast.

Awuah will replace Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, who has been nominated as the running mate for the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

In the competitive primary, Nana Owusu Afriyie Prempeh, brother to Mathew Opoku Prempeh, garnered 141 votes (26.82%), while Akwasi Coker Gyambibi and James Owusu Boakye received 2 and 7 votes, respectively.
