Former President John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is set to officially file his nomination for the upcoming presidential elections on today, Monday, September 9.
According to Joyce Bawah Mogtari, spokesperson for the Mahama campaign, the event marks a significant milestone in the party’s journey towards the December polls.
She emphasized the campaign’s focus on inclusivity and economic recovery, stating, “This is a momentous occasion for the NDC as we gear up to build the Ghana we want together. Our campaign focuses on Jobs, Accountability, Development and a better future for all Ghanaians.”
In addition to filing his nomination papers, Mahama is set to embark on a four-day tour of the Bono Region starting on Sunday.
The #Mahama4Change2024 tour will cover all 12 constituencies, including courtesy calls on traditional councils, community engagements, meetings with religious leaders, and an interaction with the Bono Regional House of Chiefs.
