Great Britain suffered a 77-67 loss to Greece in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 qualifiers on Sunday, failing to replicate their comeback victory over the same team just days earlier in London.
Greece led from the outset, finishing the first half ahead 40-32.
The home side controlled much of the game, with Panagiotis Kalaitzakis and Kostas Papanikolaou each scoring 14 points to top the scoring charts for Greece.
For Great Britain, Myles Hesson led the way with 14 points, while Quin Ellis contributed 13.
With the win, Greece moved to the top of the group standings with seven points, while the Czech Republic and Great Britain follow in second and third place, respectively, both with six points.
The Netherlands sit fourth with five points, with all teams still having two games remaining in the qualification phase.
The top three teams from each group will secure a spot in the 2025 EuroBasket, which will be hosted by Cyprus, Finland, Latvia, and Poland, from 27 August to 14 September 2025.
