Ghanaian international Evelyn Badu has signed with Norwegian giants FK Molde, completing a move from French side FC Fleury 91.
The attacking midfielder has penned a deal that will keep her at the club until the end of the 2025 season.
This move marks Badu’s return to Norway, where she previously played for Toppserien club Avaldsnes.
During her time there, she made 47 appearances and scored two goals, showcasing her talent in the heart of midfield.
Badu spent the past season in France’s Division 1 Féminine with Fleury 91, making 13 appearances and netting one goal.
Despite her young age, she has already built a strong résumé, including consistent performances for Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Queens.
In addition to this, she has a number of international matches for Ghana’s A-national team.
As a player, we are getting an offensively-minded type who can play several different roles, with good technical skills.”
The transfer is seen as a timely boost for Badu as she prepares for the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco later this year.
Her move to Molde presents an opportunity to sharpen her form and further establish herself as a key figure for both club and country.
