The Black Princesses will take another important step towards the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup when they face Polish side Sleza Wroclaw in a closed-door friendly on Tuesday.
The match will be played at Stadion Sportowy Olawka in Wroclaw at 14:00 GMT. For head coach Charles Sampson, it is a chance to test his players against senior opposition and fine-tune his plans before the tournament begins.
Sleza Wroclaw compete in Poland’s Orlen Ekstraliga Kobiet. The test should give Ghana a different challenge as the team works on shape, movement and understanding across the squad.
The Black Princesses are chasing history in Poland. This will be Ghana’s eighth straight appearance at the U-20 Women’s World Cup, but they are still searching for their first qualification from the group stage.
