The Ghana Police Service has arrested six men for allegedly impersonating national security operatives and invading the premises of S.I Jun Manufacturing Company Limited at Agona Akwakwa near Mankrong Nkwanta in the Central Region.
According to a police statement issued on Thursday, May 7, the incident occurred on May 6, 2026, at about 12:00 p.m., after authorities received a distress call indicating that a group of men had stormed the company’s premises in a Toyota Land Cruiser with registration number GW 8887-V.

Police said the suspects were dressed in various security uniforms, with three allegedly wearing camouflage uniforms of the Ghana Immigration Service, one dressed in military attire, while the remaining two were in plain clothes.
The suspects reportedly claimed to be National Security operatives and allegedly assaulted and harassed some Chinese nationals working at the company.
A police team was immediately dispatched to the scene following the report. Upon arrival, officers found the vehicle parked at the premises and discovered three Chinese nationals — identified as Man Guan, Chin Min, and Ma Kaixiang — in handcuffs.
“According to the report, three of the suspects were dressed in Ghana Immigration Service camouflage uniforms, one in a military uniform, and the remaining two in mufti. The suspects claimed to be National Security Operatives and were allegedly assaulting and harassing some Chinese Nationals at the company’s premises,” portions of the police statement said.
The six suspects were identified as Agyemang Benjamin, 32; Mahama Iddrisu Dawuda Seidu, 48; Ofori Isaac, 35; Adom Bills, 32; Hayford Boafo, 47; and Ato Mchenry, 48.
All six suspects are currently being held at the Agona Swedru District Police Headquarters to assist with ongoing investigations.
Police further disclosed that the Military Police, the Immigration Service, and National Security authorities have been contacted to verify the identities and affiliations of the suspects.
