Renowned Ghanaian luxury watch brand Caveman Watches has presented a ceremonial Caveman Clock to the revered Dakpema Palace in Tamale as part of activities marking the 2026 edition of the Heritage Caravan.

The symbolic presentation is part of the caravan’s mission to celebrate Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and strengthen ties between modern Ghanaian brands and traditional institutions.

The Caveman Clock, designed to reflect the brand’s signature craftsmanship and Ghanaian identity, was presented to the palace by the Marketing Lead of Caveman Watches, Mr. Bernard Barnor,  in honour of the traditional leadership of the Dagbon area and their role in preserving the cultural heritage of Northern Ghana.

The commemorative clock features a white marbled face with a subtle grey map of Ghana printed across the centre, symbolising national pride and identity.

It is designed with bold black Arabic numerals at the 12, 6 and 9 positions, while simple linear tick marks indicate the remaining hours. The clock is fitted with sleek gold-toned hands, giving the timepiece a refined and elegant appearance.

Branding on the clock highlights the identity of Caveman Watches, with the company’s shield logo and brand name placed below the 12 o’clock mark.

At the 6 o’clock position, the clock features the colourful logo of the Heritage Caravan, illustrated with a bus designed in the colours of the Ghanaian flag,  red, gold and green,  representing the cultural road trip across the country.

A gold-toned pendulum hanging beneath the clock carries the Caveman shield emblem, adding a distinctive finishing touch to the commemorative piece.

Running from March 1 to March 8, 2026, the Heritage Caravan will travel across 14 regions of Ghana, offering participants a unique opportunity to experience the country’s diverse traditions, cuisine, music and historical landmarks.

To commemorate a decade of the cultural initiative, this year’s edition has expanded significantly with four buses, allowing more participants to join the journey and enjoy a broader range of cultural activities.

The caravan blends cultural discovery, culinary experiences, and musical entertainment, taking travellers through several regions, including Greater Accra, Eastern, and Volta, creating an immersive exploration of Ghana’s heritage.

The 2026 Heritage Caravan is supported by several corporate partners who continue to champion tourism and cultural promotion in Ghana including Caveman Watches.

According to organisers, the continued support from corporate Ghana reflects a shared commitment to promoting domestic tourism, cultural education and national pride.
