Aryna Sabalenka’s unstoppable form continued as she cruised into the China Open quarter-finals, dispatching Madison Keys in a convincing 6-4, 6-3 victory.
The world number two needed just 65 minutes to wrap up the win, extending her impressive winning streak to 15 matches. Sabalenka’s last defeat dates back to August 10 in the Canadian Open quarter-finals.
Sabalenka, a three-time Grand Slam champion, has won 46 wins from 57 singles matches in 2024. Already this season, she has bagged back-to-back titles in Cincinnati and New York.
Sabalenka will face either Karolina Muchova in the quarter-finals. With world number one Iga Swiatek absent due to personal reasons, Sabalenka can close the gap at the top with a deep run in Beijing.
