England will come up against Serbia in the ongoing Euro 2024 Championship. This will be England’s second group game.

If England defeats Denmark on Thursday, they will advance to the round of 16 in Euro 2024 with one game remaining.

Pundits and supporters are urging Southgate to make changes for England’s match against Denmark after the team lost their opening encounter against Serbia 1-0.

Denmark manager Hjulmand may opt to start the game on Thursday with the same starting lineup.

Joachim Andersen of Crystal Palace, Andreas Christensen, a former Chelsea player who is currently at Barcelona, and Jannik Vestergaard of Leicester City will all continue to play in a three-man defence to keep 37-year-old goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel safe. 

Joakim Maehle will be pressing for a recall over Victor Kristiansen or Alexander Bah.

Rasmus Hojlund, a forward for Man United, with seven goals in 15 international appearances for Denmark.

He is anticipated to start up front with Wind, with Eriksen filling in at number ten.

Eriksen tied defensive teammate Simon Kjaer (132) as the oldest appearance-maker in Danish history at the European Championship, having become the country’s oldest scorer at 32 years and 123 days.

Regarding England, Southgate will consider whether to make one or two changes to the starting XI, possibly moving Trent Alexander-Arnold and Phil Foden to the bench as substitutes.

The match will commence at exactly 4:00pm local time.
