The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong is confident he will make it to the top three of the ongoing special electoral college organized by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking to journalists before the process today, the aspiring NPP Flagbearer said once he is chosen among the first five candidates today, it presupposes that his team has worked well in the Greater Accra Region then he will channel his campaigns to other regions.
“The moment I get the the massive vote here, it means I’m within the five. Then after, we will work on the other regions as well but the first three I will be there,” he said.
When asked what ha made of the voting process so far, Kennedy Agyapong responded, “So far so good. Especially with the election committee and the national, they’ve done a good job.”
But a few hours later, he was seen agitated on a phone call while threatening to give President Akufo-Addo and his Vice, Dr. Bawumia a “showdown”.
“President Akufo-Addo I’ll give you a showdown. Vice President, I’ll give you a showdown, for chasing my agent into a room, you’ll see what happens here,” he said.
