In a thrilling and an intense showpiece in the English Premier League, Chelsea secured a 4-3 victory over Manchester United.

Chelsea started the game well in the first 20 minutes and were 2-0 ahead with goals from Gallagher and Cole Palmer.

In the final minutes of the first half, both Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes managed to find the back of the net, leveling the scoreline for Manchester United.

During the second half, Garnacho capitalized on a cross from Anthony to bring the scoreline to 3-2 in favor of Manchester United.

Despite Manchester United leading until the 99th minute and 17 seconds, setting a record for the latest lead in a Premier League match to end in defeat, they ultimately succumbed in added time for the second time in less than a week.

Two late goals from Cole Palmer in the 100th and 101st minute was able to complete Chelsea’s comeback to clinch all three points on the day.

Prior to this encounter, Chelsea had been unable to secure a victory against Manchester United in their previous 12 Premier League matches but broke the deadlock yesterday in an epic way.

Following this dramatic loss, Erik ten Hag’s team faces a tight turnaround as they prepare to face their arch-rivals, Liverpool, on Super Sunday.

The task of mentally and physically recovering in such a brief period before the upcoming match poses a significant challenge for the team.

This outcome of yesterday’s fixture signifies that Chelsea will now progress to 10th place on the league table with 43 points, whilst the Red Devils will occupy the 6th spot with 48 points.
