The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed two new cases of Mpox in the country, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 119 as of June 22, 2025.

In its latest update, the GHS reported that no new deaths have been recorded, with the overall death toll remaining at zero. Health officials also noted that there are currently no patients admitted with the disease.

Mpox, formerly known as monkeypox, is primarily transmitted through close contact with infected individuals.

The GHS continues to urge the public to observe safety protocols and to seek prompt medical care if symptoms such as fever, rash, or swollen lymph nodes develop.

Authorities have reiterated their commitment to closely monitoring the situation and implementing preventive measures to curb the spread of the virus.
