The Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Dr. Dominic Ayine and the Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, are among key speakers expected at the 2nd edition of the African Governance and Anti-Corruption Summit.
The summit, organized by the youth-led civil society organization The Bright Future Alliance (TBFA), will take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the British Council Accra under the theme: “Corporate Institutions and Public Agencies as Pillars of Accountability: Strengthening Governance Systems for Sustainable National Growth.”

The event is expected to bring together policymakers, diplomats, civil society organizations, corporate leaders and youth advocates to discuss strategies for strengthening transparency and accountability systems across Africa.
Other speakers lined up for the summit include the Vice Chairperson of Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee and MP for Mpraeso, Davis Ansah Opoku; Majority Chief Whip, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor; Executive Secretary of the Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition, Beauty Emefa Narteh; Executive Director of TBFA, Bright Ofori; and a Deputy Director from the Internal Audit Agency.

According to organizers, the Attorney General’s participation underscores government’s commitment to collaborating with civil society in strengthening institutional integrity and promoting anti-corruption reforms.
His keynote address is expected to focus on legal and structural reforms aimed at building stronger, corruption-resistant public institutions.
The summit will feature keynote addresses, interactive panel discussions, youth and civil society dialogues designed to create a platform for direct engagement between policymakers and citizens.
TBFA believes the gathering will serve as a critical space for developing practical solutions to corruption and governance challenges, which continue to impact economic development across the continent.
