MTN Ghana and Ashesi University, Leti Arts and MiTale have formalized a partnership to explore the integration of gaming into education.
The initiative will look at how gaming can support learning while creating opportunities for students to develop skills in technology, digital innovation and game development.
President and Founder of Ashesi University, Patrick G. Awuah Junior, expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting its potential to expose students to emerging technologies and new opportunities within the digital economy.
The partnership comes amid growing conversations around the use of gaming beyond entertainment, particularly in education, skills development and innovation.
MTN Ghana Chief Digital Officer, Ibrahim Mitso, and LetiArts Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Eyram Tawia, were also present at the signing ceremony.
The initiative is expected to give students opportunities to explore gaming and technology while connecting academic learning with practical applications in a growing industry.
It also forms part of wider efforts to strengthen Ghana’s digital and creative economy and equip young people with skills for emerging areas of technology.
