Despite Halifax leading 22-16 at halftime, Rob Hawkins scored twice for them.
Nathan Collins then kept Leeds in the game with two tries, before assisting on two more to put the Rhinos ahead.
Though Hawkins managed to equalize, Josh Butler’s hat trick in the second half ensured a decisive victory for Leeds.
