Krobo Girls’ SHS, Ghana – 19th March, 2025The CroxItOut Campaign successfully hosted its second impactful event at Krobo Girls’ Senior High School, continuing its mission to empower students through awareness, mentorship, and action. Under the theme “Crossing Out Limits & Building Futures,” the event brought together passionate speakers, industry leaders, and mentors to inspire young minds to rise beyond limitations and embrace their full potential.

Supported by GermolIBM Petroleum, McPhilix Foods, and Media Partner YFm, the event featured engaging discussions on self-development, mental health, career choices, and personal growth. The students had the opportunity to interact with role models who shared valuable insights on breaking barriers and achieving success.

The health segment of the event was led by Yvonne Mensah, a Public Health Nurse from Legon Hospital, who educated the students on breast cancer, its causes, self-examination techniques, and personal hygiene. Her session provided crucial knowledge to help young women take charge of their health and well-being.

Rita Adu Boateng, Marketing Director of Old Mutual and CEO of Chalom Hights, an NGO dedicated to mentoring young ladies, spoke on “Your Worth, Your Power – Overcoming Self-Doubt and Negative Influences.” She shared her journey as a former student of Holy Child SHS, highlighting how self-awareness and strategic decision-making helped her achieve her dreams.

Adding to the powerful line-up, Ewura Ama Jenkins, a young and dynamic Lawyer and Founder of Reformation Ghana, an NGO focused on leadership, innovation, and sustainable development, delivered an inspiring talk on “Your Best Product – Aligning Your Vision & Self-Image.” She emphasized the importance of self-perception and staying true to one’s aspirations.

The event’s highlight was an engaging performance by Abena Serwaah Senti Frempong, popularly known as S3nti, an afro-fusion live performer. Beyond her captivating musical act, she educated the students on “Effects of Drugs on Your Health and Talent,” drawing from her background as a licensed Physician Assistant. Her talk resonated deeply with the audience, shedding light on the consequences of substance abuse on personal and professional growth.

Speaking at the event, the Assistant Headmistress, Madam Opokua Ampadu Sackey, emphasized, “This campaign is about helping young people realize that they have the power to shape their future. It’s not just about dreaming big, but about taking bold steps towards achieving those dreams.”

The CroxItOut initiative continues to gain momentum, proving to be a transformative force in the lives of students across Ghana. With more schools on the roadmap, the campaign remains committed to equipping the next generation with the tools, knowledge, and inspiration they need to thrive.
