The Sekondi High Court has lifted an injunction that prevented the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, from contesting the upcoming 2024 parliamentary election.
Following an earlier adjournment in the case, the NDC sought for the court to lift the injunction on its candidate and dismiss the substantive disqualification. The hearing was presided over by His Lordship George K. Gyan-Kontoh.
Addressing the media after the court ruling, Joana Cudjoe noted expressed her appriciation to God, her Lawyers and all who supported her through the journey.
