President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his dedication to delivering on all campaign promises, assuring Ghanaians of a renewed focus on development, unity and progress.

Speaking to a large and enthusiastic crowd at Jackson Park in Koforidua on Sunday, the President expressed profound gratitude for the support he received in the 2024 general elections.

The event marked a key stop on his nationwide “Thank You Tour,” aimed at engaging citizens and reinforcing the government’s post-election agenda.

“Thank you for the warm reception,” President Mahama said. “Because of the confidence you have reposed in me by electing me once again as President, I promise not to disappoint you. With the grace of God, we will fulfil all our promises to the Eastern Region and Ghanaians as a whole.”

The rally drew thousands of supporters, including regional party executives and traditional leaders, who chanted NDC slogans and waved party flags as the President outlined his administration’s key priorities: infrastructure development, education, job creation, and healthcare.

Local chiefs and community leaders welcomed the President’s assurances but also urged swift government intervention to tackle pressing regional challenges, particularly poor road networks and growing youth unemployment.

President Mahama’s remarks underscored his broader message of inclusive governance and national unity—core themes of his 2024 campaign platform.

His administration’s “Big Push Agenda” remains central to delivering transformative projects and uplifting communities across Ghana.

The Eastern Regional stop forms part of the President’s effort to strengthen ties with local communities, acknowledge their role in the NDC’s electoral success, and promote transparency and accountability as his new term gains momentum.
