In exciting news, Cagliari midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana and West Bromwich Albion forward Brandon Thomas-Asante have received their debut callups to join Ghana’s squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic.

The dynamic duo has been included in Ghana’s 26-man squad for the crucial double-header matches set to take place in Bamako and Kumasi on June 6 and 10, respectively.

Coach Otto Addo took notice of Sulemana’s stellar performances in the Serie A this season, where he showcased his skills in 21 matches scoring twice.
