FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers: Chris Hughton names 25-man squad for Madagascar and Comoros clashes

Coach Chris Hughton has called up twenty-five players for next week’s FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros.

All twenty-five players invited for the qualifiers are expected to be in camp on Monday 13th September, 2023.

Captain Andre Ayew who missed the  October international break makes a return to the Black Stars ahead of these two crucial qualifiers.

Also, returning to the squad are Joojo Wollacot,  Kasim Adams, Daniel Amartey, Osman Bukari and KamalDeen Sulemana.

Abdul Fatawu Hamid and Jonathan Sowah from the Ghanaian league who impressed during the September international break have also earned a spot in the 25-man squad.

The Black Stars will be hosting Madagascar on November 17th at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Then they’ll be facing Comoros in Moroni on November 21st.
