Executive Secretary of the Lands Commission, James Ebenezer Dadson has handed over to Director of Land valuation Division of the Lands Commission, Benjamin Arthur as new Executive Secretary for the commission, after 30 years of service. The handing over ceremony was held at the premises of commission on Monday, 21st August. Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Benito Owusu-Bio on behalf of the sector minister commended the achievements of the Lands Commission under the leadership of the outgoing Executive Secretary.
Hon. Owusu-Bio eulogized Mr. Dadson’s efforts in advancing land administration in the country while disclosing that he will continue his work as a consultant at the ministry to help in transforming the land system in the country. He urged the Commission to offer their unwavering support to the New Executive Secretary and work harmoniously to make his work a success.
The outgoing Executive Secretary for his part expressed his appreciation to the lands minister and the opportunity given him to serve the nation. He indicated that in spite of the different sections under the commission, team work and hard work were key rationale behind his accomplishment. He hoped that strong ties built among officers will continue even in his absence to improve work outwork and further boost the public’s confidence in them.
On his part, the new Ag. Executive Secretary, Mr. Benjamin Arthur accepted the mantle and conveyed his outmost appreciation, while assuring the gathering of his readiness to achieve greater heights.
