Ghana’s U20 Women’s Team set for FIFA World Cup in Colombia: Group draw and schedule revealed

Excitement brews as Ghana’s U20 women’s team, known as the Black Princesses, gears up for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia this August.

The draw has placed them in Group E, alongside formidable opponents Japan, New Zealand, and Austria.

Being in pot 3, the Black Princesses face a challenging group stage, but they are ready to showcase their talent and determination.

Their campaign kicks off against Austria at the Bogota El Techo Stadium on Monday, September 2, 2024.

This marks Ghana’s seventh consecutive appearance in the prestigious tournament, highlighting their consistent presence and competitive spirit in youth women’s football on the global stage.

Ghana also made it to the tournament in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2022.
