Parliament’s Appointments Committee has commenced the vetting of Justice Philip Bright Mensah, who was recently nominated by President John Dramani Mahama for a key judicial position.
Justice Mensah’s nomination is part of the President’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the judiciary and ensure efficiency and integrity within the country’s legal system.
The vetting process allows the committee to assess his qualifications, track record, and judicial philosophy before making a recommendation to the full House.
The vetting session is expected to focus on Justice Mensah’s prior rulings, ethical standards, and vision for judicial reform, especially in light of public interest in transparency and judicial independence.
