Vice President H.E Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has called for unity from among African countries, emphasizing on the need to focus on infrastructural development as a means of boosting economic growth in Africa.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 3rd edition of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues 2025 organized by he Africa Prosperity Network (APN) in collaboration with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, she highlighted the importance of infrastructural developments and its critical role in promoting economic stability and integration among African countries.
She also highlighted how the economic benefits from Ghana’s energy infrastructure targeted at providing affordable power to household across the country.
“We must prioritze infrastructural developments without which our hopes for a single market will remain a challenge. Our (Ghana) commitment to energy infrastructure is a testament to our belief that access to affordable and relaible power is essential for growth and economic stability” she noted.
Vice President H.E Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang also commended the organizers of the event aimed at propelling Africa to greater heights. According to her, “This gathering is a vital step towards ensuring that our shared vision for Africa becomes a reality”.
The three-day event is expected to commence with breakfast meetings to be convened by some top chief executives.
At the heart of this year’s conversation revolves on how to deliver infrastructure for the continent, a necessity for pushing integrated and inter-continental trading activities under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) initiative.
