On Saturday 31st August at TNA Park, Nsoatreman and FC Samartex clashed in a thrilling Champions of Champions Cup match. The encounter was fiercely competitive, with both teams vying eagerly for the trophy.
In the 70th minute, Emmanuel Mamah scored a spectacular header to secure a hard-fought 1-0 victory for FC Samartex 1996 over Nsoatreman FC, earning them the 2024 Champion of Champions trophy in Tarkwa on Saturday night.
Despite both teams showing attacking prowess throughout the match, it took until the 79th minute for Mamah’s decisive goal to break the deadlock.
This win marked FC Samartex’s first Champion of Champions title.
The match, held at the nearly full-capacity TnA Stadium in Tarkwa on August 31, 2024, showcased high-quality football and thrilled the enthusiastic crowd.
The Champion of Champions serves as a prelude to the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season, which starts on Friday, September 6, 2024.
