The New Patriotic Party’s Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, widely known as NAPO, has humbly accepted the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) defeat in the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

In a statement, the NPP’s Vice Presidential candidate expressed the party’s respect for the decision of the Ghanaian people and pledged to draw lessons from the experience to make a stronger comeback.

NAPO acknowledged the disappointment among NPP supporters but stressed the need for introspection to identify and address the factors that contributed to the party’s electoral performance.
