Kylian Mbappe scored twice in Real Madrid’s hard-fought 2-0 victory over Real Sociedad at Reale Arena.
Mbappe netted his first La Liga goal of the season with a penalty late in the second half after Jon Aramburu fouled Vinicius Jr.
Earlier, Vinicius had scored a penalty in the 58th minute after Sergio Gomez handled Arda Guler’s shot.
Sociedad hit the woodwork three times, with Thibaut Courtois helpless against Luka Susic’s strike. Madrid remains unbeaten in La Liga after five games but trails Barcelona by a point, having played one match more.
