Jack Draper delivered a dominant performance to claim his first ATP Masters 1000 title at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, defeating Holger Rune 6-2, 6-2.

The 23-year-old Briton, who had already beaten top players like Carlos Alcaraz, Ben Shelton, and Taylor Fritz to reach the final, saved his best for last.

After the match, Draper expressed his surprise and gratitude, noting that he had worked hard for this moment and was thrilled to be healthy and mentally strong.

He described the feeling of his efforts finally coming together on the big stage as overwhelming.

In addition to his third ATP title, Draper will make his Top 10 debut, rising to No. 7 in the ATP Rankings.

Reflecting on this achievement, he acknowledged the challenges he had faced, the sacrifices made, and the support from those around him, making this milestone all the more emotional.

Draper dominated with his serve and heavy groundstrokes, keeping Rune on the defensive throughout the match.

He lost just four points on serve in the first set and broke Rune early in the second, cruising to victory without facing a break point.

He credited his preparation, noting that he had learned from his previous match against Alcaraz and knew he needed to be aggressive against Rune from the start.

Draper felt he dictated the match well, never allowing Rune to settle into a rhythm.
