The Sekondi High Court, led by His Lordship George K. Gyan-Kontoh, has postponed a ruling on the NDC’s application to overturn the disqualification of its Amenfi Central Parliamentary candidate, Joana Gyan Cudjoe.
The decision follows a plea from one of Gyan Cudjoe’s lead counsel, Edudzie Tamakloe, who urged the court to address the disqualification before the upcoming December 7 parliamentary election.
His Lordship Gyan-Kontoh encouraged both parties to consider an out-of-court settlement before the next hearing on Monday, November 11.
Supporters of Joana Gyan Cudjoe gathered at the court, calling for a prompt resolution to enable her participation in the December 7 election.
