Breaking: Mahama submits first set of Ministerial nominations

Parliament is expected to begin vetting the nominees in the coming days.

 President John Dramani Mahama has officially submitted his first set of ministerial nominations to Parliament in accordance with Article 78 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.
The nominees include:
1.Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson – Minister for Finance Designate
2.Hon. John Abdul Jinapor – Minister for Energy Designate
3.Hon. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine – Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Designate
The nominations mark an important step in shaping the leadership of critical government portfolios, as the nominees are expected to bring expertise and focus to addressing key national challenges.
Acting Spokesperson to the President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, stated that the appointments reflect the administration’s commitment to selecting qualified individuals to spearhead Ghana’s economic recovery, energy sustainability, and judicial reforms.
