Member of Parliament for the Madina Constituency, Francis Xavier Sosu, has rendered an apology over his use of indecent words on addressing the Akufo-Addo led-government and the mismanagement of the economy.
Lawyer Sosu noted that, he was out of Character and that his action demonstrated his anguish, pain frustration and disappointment at the management of the Bank of Ghana and the current state of affairs in the country.
The Lawyer in a press statement, took full responsibility for his actions and apologized sincerely to Ghanaians and most importantly to all who felt offended by his comments.
” I have reflected and realized that though I spoke those words out of anger and extreme provocation, i was out of Character” the statement noted.
In an interview during the #OccupyBoG demonstration organized by the Minority in Parliament on Tuesday, October,3, 2023, demanding the resignation of the Governor of Bank of Ghana from office, the lawmaker used very strong and unprintable words to express his anger over the economic hardship in the country.
His video went viral on social media with many expressing shocks at the MP as they consider him a gentleman who is not known for spewing such words, while others condemned his utterances.
“If not for the fact that I am an MP, I would have said their mothers’… [insulting words referring to a woman’s private parts] …why are they making us suffer like that? They should get away; we’ve had enough of them…” the lawyer said in Ga.
