Ghanaian rapper Medikal is opening up about being a victim of domestic abuse at the hands of his now ex-wife and baby mama, Fella Makafui.
In a revealing post on X, Medikal shared that he has been physically abused by Fella on numerous occasions. He highlighted the often-overlooked issue of male victims of domestic violence, stating, “A lot of men go through domestic violence and abuse at home but keep mute because a woman is innocent until proven guilty but a man is automatically guilty until proven innocent.”
Medikal further detailed his ordeal, mentioning the involvement of local authorities due to the severity of the abuse. “The police at Nanakrom Lakeside know about this, had to invite them in because I was running for my life! Since she wants me investigated, I will like to take this on. Ready to speak up!! Very loud and clear!!” His statements have sparked conversations about the challenges male victims face and the importance of addressing domestic violence against all genders.
