Accra, Ghana – The Live Well Wellness Festival, a premier health and lifestyle initiative
focused on promoting preventive healthcare and sustainable wellbeing, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 4 April 2026 at the University of Ghana Poolside, starting at 7:00 AM GMT.

Positioned as a transformative wellness platform, the festival seeks to address the growing burden of lifestyle-related health challenges by bridging the gap between health awareness and practical, everyday action. The event will convene healthcare professionals, wellness practitioners, fitness communities, and leading lifestyle brands to deliver an integrated experience centered on holistic wellbeing.

The festival will feature a comprehensive lineup of activities, including free health screenings (such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and BMI checks), expert-led educational sessions, guided fitness activities, nutrition experiences, and wellness exhibitions. These offerings are designed to equip participants with accessible tools and knowledge to make informed health decisions.

Founder Dr. Kenneth Gyamfi, a Family Medicine Consultant, emphasized the importance of
shifting from reactive to preventive healthcare: “Our focus is to create a platform that empowers individuals to take proactive responsibility for their health. Wellness must be practical, accessible, and embedded in everyday living.”

In the lead-up to the event, a structured influencer engagement campaign will support public education and awareness. Through the “Live Well Check-In” initiative, influencers and participants are encouraged to adopt simple, daily wellness habits—reinforcing the festival’s core message that sustainable health begins with consistent, small actions.

The Live Well Wellness Festival also provides a strategic platform for partnerships across the health, fitness, and lifestyle sectors, fostering collaboration and expanding access to wellness resources within communities.

Media coverage is expected to play a key role in amplifying the festival’s impact, with
leading media organizations already aligned to support pre-event and on-site engagement.

As Ghana continues to prioritize public health and wellbeing, the Live Well Wellness
Festival stands as a timely intervention aimed at driving long-term behavioural change and strengthening community health outcomes.
