Hello MX24,
I’ve never shared this with anyone, but it’s been eating at me for months.
Last year, I landed my dream internship at a top media agency. I was paired with one of the most respected producers in the industry. She was powerful, confident, and walked like she owned every room she entered. I wanted to be just like her.
One day, we were prepping a major pitch. She left the room to take a call and asked me to finalize a few slides on her laptop. That’s when I saw a folder titled “Confidential.”
I shouldn’t have opened it — but I did.
Inside were full presentations and scripts… all bearing another agency’s logo. Word for word, exactly what she had been presenting as her original work.
I was shocked.
The next day, she delivered that pitch — and won the deal.
Her wins kept stacking. Clients adored her. Promotions came in fast. But I couldn’t unsee what I had seen.
Then, just before my internship ended… she offered me a permanent role. High salary. Directly under her.
“But in this business,” she said, “you need to understand what silence is worth.”
I haven’t signed the contract yet.
I need the money. The exposure. The mentorship.
But I also know the truth — and what she’s capable of.
If you were me…
Would you accept the job and stay quiet?
Or walk away — and maybe regret it forever?
