After their recent stellar performances, Ghana’s national football team has surged four places up in the June FIFA rankings.

From 68th in April, the Black Stars now proudly stand at 64th in the latest rankings unveiled on June 20th.

This climb follows their impressive victories against Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

In a thrilling showdown, Otto Addo’s squad rallied from behind to secure a 2-1 win against Mali in Bamako.

They then triumphed 4-3 against Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

On the African continent, Ghana’s ascent is equally remarkable, moving up two spots from 14th to 12th place.

Meanwhile, globally, Argentina retains its top spot, showcasing consistent brilliance, while France holds firm in second place.

Belgium remains in third position, showcasing their football prowess.

In other notable movements, England slips to fifth place, while Brazil climbs to fourth, illustrating the dynamic shifts in the football landscape.
