Steph Curry earned the Kobe Bryant MVP trophy and led Shaq’s OGs to an All-Star victory at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
The NBA introduced a new format with four teams, each coached by a legend, competing in a single-elimination tournament consisting of two semi-finals and a championship game.
Curry, 36, scored 12 points in the final, securing a 41-25 win over Chuck’s Global Stars.
Shaquille O’Neal, a four-time NBA champion, coached the winning team, while Kenny Smith, a two-time NBA champion, Charles Barkley, an 11-time All-Star, and Candace Parker, a three-time WNBA champion, coached the other three teams.
Curry finished the competition with 20 total points, having scored 8 in the 42-35 semi-final victory over Candace’s Rising Stars, earning him the MVP title.
The Golden State Warriors point guard is now the 15th player in NBA history to win the All-Star MVP more than once.
