Ghana’s Black Stars have touched down in Morocco ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar on Monday.

The squad departed Accra on Saturday morning and arrived at Acharif Al Idrissi Airport in Al Hoceima by late afternoon. With all 23 players in good condition, the team is fully focused on extending their lead at the top of Group I.

Fresh off a dominant 5-0 win over Chad, Ghana is brimming with confidence. A victory against Madagascar would further solidify their chances of securing a spot at the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

Leading the delegation are Black Stars Management Committee chairman Dr. Randy Abbey and vice chairman Stephen Appiah, alongside former captain Asamoah Gyan. Their presence adds experience and motivation as the team gears up for another crucial fixture.

Kickoff is set for 19:00 GMT at Stade Mimoun Al Arsi, where Ghana will look to take another step toward World Cup qualification.
